"Sallie" is a great mare; big, stout built, and bred the right way. She has alot of Leo blood in her (on papers) along with his son Leo San, Sugar Bars, Joe Reed and Three Bars,TB are also in the mix. She has been mostly used as a personal riding horse, this mare is a strong tremendous athlete and her foals should also do well. Her foals have been limited to date, she has produced a bay colt, a chestnut filly and a super nice 2005 chestnut filly, we couldn't be more pleased with her foals. Sallie will have a bit of time off from being a broodmare, we hope to be able to do a bit of riding next year with her. Sallie has been exposed to Docs Bayakoa for a 2008 foal.
Update: Sallie had a very nice sorrel filly on 3/6/08. Sallie will be bred back to Docs Bayakoa for a 2009 foal, she will also be heading south to Spellbound Facility in VA on a lease, your going to enjoy her Gayle, she's an awesome mare.

"Cougar" is a super nice 15hd mare sired by an ROM earning son of AQHA champion Reynold's Rap; son of the great Sonny Dee Bar. Cougar is out of Ole Jackie Bee, an own daughter of Jackie Bee. Since we have owned Cougar she has produced for us five foals to date, a loud sorrel overo paint filly, a chestnut colt, a sorrel colt, a bay filly, a bay colt, and lastly a brown/black filly that we retained as a future replacemant. Cougar will be exposed to Clu Chip for a 2008 foal, she has always produced super nice foals and we think this cross will be no different. She will be bred back to Clu Chip for a 2010 foal.

"Sunnie" is a really nice dun mare by Pocos Gray Comet; an awesome foundation grulla stallion owned by the Jaz Ranch. Her dam is our late mare Slick Rock Misty; a 100% color producing daughter of Grullo Bar Scott. We are very happy to add another daughter of "Misty" to our band of broodmares. Misty was an amazingly quiet, sweet natured mare and always passed that same disposition onto her foals. We would like to thank Royal Oaks Stables of Rehoboth, MA for allowing us to purchase this wonderful mare. Sunnie is also a 100% color producer to date with 2 duns and 4 grullas to her credit; all sired by Royal Oaks Stable's foundation stallion Poco Mave. We look forward to more Sunnie foals in the future. Sunnie has been exposed to Clu Chip for a 2008 foal.
UPDATE: Sunnie gave us a super nice dark dun filly on 5/22/08. She will be bred back to Docs Bayakoa for a 2009 foal and going to her new home at Spellbound Facility in VA. She's a wonderful mare Gayle, enjoy her, I'm glad she's found a great forever home!

"Eleta" is another member of our small band of mares, she has a wonderful disposition and is a very nice mare to have around. She has some great breeding behind her, just check out her pedigree, two of AQHA's supreme champions appear on her papers with Sonny Dee Bar, Drop Latch, Dart Bar, and Sheiks Command one off her papers. Eleta is the dam of five foals to date and we can't wait to see what she produces for us. Eleta is in foal to Docs Bayakoa for a 2008.
UPDATE: Eleta gave us a cute little red dun colt on 3/11/08, unfortunately, after trying our best to save her, we lost Eleta on the 14th from foaling complications. She was a wonderful mare and we will miss her greatly. Her colt is doing very well and we expect he will continue to do so.

"Sadie" is a very nice put together mare with a quiet disposition that we have added to our broodmare band. She traces to Sonny Go Royal, Sonny Dee Bar, Skip's Squire, Skip 3 Bar, Skipper's King, Roan Bar, Phantom Chick, and Leo on her sire's side while going back to The Flying Saint, St Bar D, Chicaro Bill, Hobo and Scooter S on her dam's side. Along with her foundation lines Sadie may well carry the black gene, although she is untested, she has yet to produce a red from five foals to date. Sadie was exposed to APHA stallion, Coals BW Bandit, a black overo, for a 2007 foal. Sadie's in utero foal has been sold.

"Abby" is one of the younger mares in our broodmare band. She is a double bred Blondys Dude mare and a nice put together mare also. She has some of the old foundation lines up close in her pedigree, horses like Little Joe (one off her papers), Lad's Stuart, Tabano King, Tennessee, Poco Turp and others. We think this young mare will cross well on either of our boys and can't wait to see what she produces for us in the future. Abby is in foal to Clu Chip for 2008.
UPDATE: Abby gave us a really nice cremello filly on 5/26/08. Abby has been bred back to Docs Bayakoa for a 2010 foal and will be returning to her original breeder, congrats Anne, we're so glad she'll have a forever home.

"Vic" is a mare that we are very pleased to have in our broodmare band. She has some great breeding behind her as her pedigree can attests. Her sire, Mucho Cutter, is an NCHA money earning son of Mucho Playboy, who in turn is an NCHA money earning son of the great Freckles Playboy (out of a Doc Bar daughter). Mucho Cutter's dam is an own daughter of AQHA champion, superior cutting horse, Cutter Bill, out of a daughter of Hard Twist. Vic's dam is a daughter of superior reining horse Mr King Destiny out of a Leo San / Poco Bueno / Wimpy bred mare. Vic has had two previous foals; a black breeding stock paint gelding by 2x APHA reserve world champion Bug Zappers Design, and a really nice sorrel filly by AQHA world champion Predominately Mr. Vic has given us two really nice athletic fillies by Docs Bayakoa, this has been a great cross, Vic will have a couple years off.

She is a halter point earning daughter of Tiffanys Gold Seeker, a palomino son of AQHA world champion / world champion sire Impressive out of a daughter of AQHA supreme champion Goldseeker Bars. Freckles dam is an own daughter of Coosa Lad who can speak for himself, out of a halter point earning daughter of Color Me Skip. Freckles has some of the best breeding behind her, she is a very sweet mare who loves her attention and we are very pleased with her. Freckles was exposed to Clu Chip for a 2010 foal.

"Imp" (and she does live up to her name) is a dun filly sired by Brennas Lil Jack; an NRHA COA / AQHA ROM earner owned by Nielsen Quarter Horses of Hinesburg,VT., he in turn is sired by '89 NRHA futurity champion Brennas Kid, his dam, Miss Kilo Jack (dam of 5 NRHA money earners) is sired by superior performance horse Hollywood Jac 86. Imp's dam was our very good mare Slick Rock Misty, a dun, 100% color producing daughter of Grullo Bar Scott. We had made the descision to retain Imp as a future replacemant for her dam, whom we had to put down in the fall of 2004. "Cassy" is a 16hd mare, she is a wonderful mare coming to us from Welshans Quarter Horses and we thank them much for allowing us to add this fine mare to our band. Cassy's sire, Jay Byrd Lad is an own son of Lad's Image, an AQHA Champion and show ROM earner, he being by the great Skipper's Lad, by Skipper W. Tarena Dude is a fine daughter of Blondy's Dude out of a King George daughter. Cassy's dam, Miss Classic Poudre, is by Two Eyed Classic who is by the great Two Eyed Jack, she is out of a daughter of Poudre Bay. Confirmation and foundation blood at it's best, and up close in the pedigree, a hard to find combination nowdays. Cassy is the dam of open, amatuer and youth halter and performance point earners, her 05 filly was MA Reserve yearling mare. Cassy has been exposed to Clu Chip for a 2009 foal.
